3311 Casterton, Victoria

In the main street of a small country town this rivetting upper facade in the 'Art Deco' style is so Buck Rogers I have to share it.
Below the awnings is less amusing of course. I do wish people would Leave Things Alone.

    massive searching online has failed to reveal the architect but I did learn a lot about Victorian deco while doing that. 1938 was the year.
    This building has also been featured on other blogs with better images of course. see Art Deco Buildings a great blog by Melbourne's David Thompson.
